What does the Anthology question look like and expect you to do?
|
You will get one 30 mark question which asks you to compare a named poem (with a copy provided) with another poem from the anthology (which you do not get a copy of).
This means it is hugely important that you read, re-read and revise all of the poems from the Anthology and that you learn quotes from the poems as well. A typical question will look like: Compare the ways poets present ideas about power in ‘Ozymandias’ and in one other poem from ‘Power and conflict’. |
